OCD..

I'm of the belief that everybody suffers from a tiny bit of OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and my OCD manifests when it comes to magazines. My mum actually just called me a freak over it. When I buy a magazine, it has to be in perfect condition. No pages torn, no bends or creases. I read the magazine from back to front. It can take me a full month to read a magazine as I love taking my time with it. My ultimate pet peeve when it comes to a magazine is when I buy one and somebody picks it up and reads it before me, I hate that, it's like it's ruined! (I'm actually starting to think my mum is right, I'm a freak!)
Is it just me though or do people share my thoughts on this!?

On another note, I bought this Topshop Nail Varnish at the weekend. It's called Big Smoke and is that mushroom/grey colour, quite similar to Chanel's Particuliere. Topshop's make-up range is great I think, and their nail varnish dries really quickly and stays smudge-free a lot longer than Rimmel. It is a bit pricey at €9 though. Apologies for the blurry picture, I've had to make do with the camera on my phone since my good camera got robbed in Spain.

  1. Yes! I completely share your views on the magazine thing. I have to be the first person to read a new mag, I love opening it for the first time. I buy around 5 a month and keep them all, my room is full of stacks of 'archives' which now take up a bit too much space. I just can't part with them, I love them too much!

  3. You're not a freak. Well, if you are so am I! I totally understand the it's ruined if someone reads it first thing! It's like buying a dress and someone wearing it before you do! It's just not new anymore.

  4. That nail polish color is lovely! Have you tried the Topshop eyeliners yet? I was thinking about trekking over to the branch in St Stephens green next time i'm in the city but don't know if its worth it! I heard bad things about the foundation. xo

  5. No I just bought the nail varnish! I've quite sensitive skin so I'm fussy over what I use. The eyeliner does look nice though and I've heard it's got great reviews!
