Japanese Vogue

For some reason I love the editorials from Japanese Vogue far more than the ones featured in the UK or US version. These are my picks from the June issue. (images via fashiongonerogue)

Bloggers Anonymous!

Hermia over at the wonderful blog has started up a project in order for us bloggers to rant guilt-free about the ups and downs in our lives. It's completely anonymous so if you have a story to tell that you don't want to post on your own blog,(in case somebody in your life will read it and get upset, angry etc.) head over to Hermia's blog and follow the instructions here. It's a great idea so please help it take off!

I'm off to Dingle for the weekend so hopefully the weather will be great and I'll be able to take more photo's like this!

Enjoy the weekend,

Emma xx

P.S I knew the blogging hiatus wouldn't last long!

This Week I'm Loving:

Old school Madonna!

Literally just because this weeks episode of Glee is a Madonna episode! I can't wait to buy the Glee songs as I just love Lea Michele's voice-my mum has banned me from playing Don't Rain On My Parade ( I think that has more to do with my singing though!).

Mario Testino

I've been looking over his archives but I came across these shots on fashiongonerogue. It's entitled "Morning Beauty" and feature Daria Werbowy and Lily Donaldson. The photo's just blew me away and along with his other work, remind me just how much of a photographic genius Mario Testino is.

This blog: The girls over at glamrocks already posted on this blog but I'm actually still in shock at how amazing this girl is! She's only 17! She goes from girly to grunge in a day and pulls it off with minimal effort! Her blog is in Swedish but she translates some of her posts. If you use Google Chrome like I do, it'll translate it for you!

(Clockwise: River Island, Oasis, Oasis and Topshop)

and finally,
Alexander Skarsgard:

seriously how hot is this man?!

Unfortunately I think this will be my last post for a while! I really have to get into study and cut off all distractions! My exams are in 2 weeks. I will cave eventually but hopefully not. See ye on the other side!

Festival Fever

I always get excited for the festival season as soon as Coachella starts in the US. I love seeing what the celebs wear to festivals, usually it's nothing (ie. Katy Perry) or it's extremely pretty tea dresses like Dita Von Teese or Kelly Osbourne.

Now I'm all talk because I've never actually gone to a festival but I've always planned to and then plans fall through at the last minute but I still get excited for them. This year though I'm definitely going to Oxegen and hopefully Electric Picnic too. I'm aiming for the Dita Von Teese look of floaty, flowery dresses with boots, a straw trilby and plenty of necklaces!

What do you like to wear to festivals?

Emma xx

P.S Check out this video of Jay-Z and Beyonce performing Forever Young. He's the main reason I'm going to Oxegen and I can't wait to see him!! Hopefully she'll be there too!

The Outnet..everything for €1??

Did anyone else spend their morning trying to get onto €1 sale? I was up at 7 hoping to be able to get something especially a bag but seems like the whole of Europe and Australia was doing the same! I got on straight away when I clicked the link but then the server crashed and I spend another 2 hours clicking refresh! Finally got on again and everything in my size was gone! I'm disappointed but not disheartened as it was a great idea and some people were very lucky! I saw on Facebook a girl got a £2,500 Cavalli dress for £1!

Was anybody else lucky or just incredibly annoyed with the whole thing or were some people smart enough not to buy into all the hype unlike me!?

Military Chic...

I absolutely adore the military trend! I previously did a post on it (here) and have since been buying bits and pieces. These celebrities have rocked the trend, especially Kim Kardashian! The last few pictures I've seen of her she has been wearing military inspired pieces and she makes it look effortless. She does have a stylist who keeps her own blog and she was very much into military so it's no wonder that the Kardashian sisters have been spotted wearing a lot of it.

(From top: Olivia Palermo Alessandra Ambrosio, Kim Kardashian, Emmy Rossum & Cat Deeley.)

These are currently on my list:
